Paetsch Placed On Waivers

The Sabres have placed defenseman Nathan Paetsch on waivers. Paetsch is the 8th defensemen on the Sabres depth chart. With Chris Butler healthy, Paetsch and Andrej Sekera have been healthy scratches. The team compared the situation to when Adam Mair was placed on waivers earlier in the season.

Paetsch has also played forward when needed. The 26-year old was a 7th round draft pick of the Sabres in 2003. Paetsch has 1 goal in 10 games this season and is a plus-1.
