Jordan Leopold traded to St. Louis

Jordan Leopold, a pending unrestricted free agent, played three seasons with the Sabres.

leomugLeopold tallied 67 points (25 goals, 42 assists) in 174 games with the Sabres.

The Sabres have since confirmed the trade, adding in that the team has acquired the Blues’ 2013 2nd round pick along with a conditional 2013 5th round pick.

(Update: Blues’ radio host Andy Strickland reports the 5th round pick will turn into a fourth round pick if the Blues win a playoff series this season.)

Also, it seems as if rookie defenseman Mark Pysyk will draw back into the lineup this evening.
