Tyler Myers out for season

The Sabres just announced this breaking news story.

A nightmarish way to end a nightmare season for young defenseman Tyler Myers.

It looks as if the original injury was suffered following a blocked P.K. Subban point shot right before the Canadiens scored their 4th goal in the second period.

Myers will end the season playing 39 games amassing 8 points (3 goals, 5 assists) while tallying a career-low -8 rating.

It is unknown how long recovery will take but he is currently expected to be completely recovered for next season.

The Sabres have not announced a call-up at the time of this article.

Stay tuned for the latest.
