Sabres claim D’Agostini off waivers

The Buffalo Sabres have claimed right winger Matt D’Agostini off of waivers this morning.

D’Agostini, 27 years old, was originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 6th round of the 2005 NHL Entry Level Draft.

He had most recently played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he tallied 1 point (1 assist) in 8 games.

D’Agostini had a career year back in 2010-11 with the St. Louis Blues, scoring 46 points (21 goals, 25 assists) in 82 games.
