Sabres to pick 2nd in June’s Draft

For the second consecutive season, the Buffalo Sabres did not win the National Hockey League’s Draft Lottery.

That also means, for the second consecutive season, the Buffalo Sabres will draft 2nd overall.

The Edmonton Oilers were declared the winners of the 2015 NHL Draft Lottery.

This will be the second time in franchise history that Buffalo drafts 2nd overall (Reinhart in 2014).

It is expected that the Buffalo Sabres will draft forward Jack Eichel of Boston University.
