Kane suspended for 1 game by team

Kane

Evander Kane will not play Tuesday against Ottawa because he missed practice on Monday, and has been suspended by the team for one game.

“Evander Kane missed practice today, he slept in, he called Tim and myself and broke a team rule, we’ll be dealing with it internally, but he will not be playing in Ottawa,” head coach Dan Bylsma said.

The Sabres won’t have to recall anyone because it looks as if Johan Larsson will be good to go for the game.

The Sabres will take on the Senators tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
