Sabres agree to terms with Ristolainen

The Buffalo Sabres have announced that they have come to terms with their first pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Level Draft, Rasmus Ristolainen.

Ristolainen, selected 8th overall, just completed the three-day development camp in Buffalo.

The deal will be a three-year entry-level contract, but financial details were not released at the announcement of the signing.

It is currenly uncertain where Ristolainen will play next season, whether it is Buffalo, Rochester or Finland. Ristolainen originally told media that he would either play in Buffalo or Finland due to contractual agreements, but those may have been avoided with this deal.
