Report: Frolik has KHL offer

Michal Frolik will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason if the Sabres don’t sign him before then.

They acquired him in a series of moves after trading away Marco Scandella, but many fans weren’t happy with what they saw from Frolik.

Now, there are reports that Frolik has a 1-year offer in the KHL:

“According to SE, Vanguard is interested in signing a contract with Czech forward Buffalo Michal Frolik. The Hawks offer the attacker a one-year contract…According to our data, Frolik is not against moving to Vanguard, but so far no final decision on transfer has been made.”

Whether he signs in the KHL or not, it’s likely that Frolik won’t return to the Sabres next season.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
