Adam Pardy Recalled

Throughout the past 24 hours, the Buffalo Sabres have been an ailing hockey team.

Reported this morning, five players missed practice and two of those five players were deemed doubtful for tomorrow’s game versus the Ottawa Senators.

All afternoon, many Sabres fans had been waiting for the other shoe to fall, and it finally has.

Adam Pardy has spent a short-time with the Rochester Americans, after he cleared waivers. In 5 games with Rochester, Pardy scored 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and was a +3.

Pardy, acquired along with Steve Ott from the Dallas Stars in the offseason, is expected to bolster a shaky Sabres defense, which is also being crushed with injuries.

According to Kevin Oklobzija of the Democrat and Chronicle, Pardy is exempt from waivers for 9 games (or 30 days), so his stay with the Sabres could be an abbreviated one.
