The NHL and the Buffalo Sabres have officially released their schedules for the upcoming 2010-2011 season. The Sabres will begin its campaign on Friday, October 8 in Ottawa. Buffalo will then return home the next night to host the New York Rangers.
The Sabres longest home stand of the season will take place in February. Buffalo will host six teams in ten days, including St.Louis, Detroit, and Ottawa.
The Sabres will then leave for their longest road trip of the season. March will open up with seven straight road games in 12 nights. Buffalo will play a few Western Conference teams twice. Chicago, San Jose, and Columbus will all play the Sabres both at home and on the road.
Buffalo will end its regular season April 9th in Columbus. The final regular season home game will be the night before against Philadelphia.
