A source from the Sabres’ organization has confirmed a new white “away” jersey and a new
alternate blue “home” jersey for the upcoming season. The white jersey will simply be a white variation of the current alternate home jersey (which will become the primary home jersey next season). It will look very similar to the one recently posted here at Sabres Hockey Central.
The new 3rd jersey will look very different from anything the Sabres have done before. It will be royal blue with a “Buffalo” script in white across the front, with the player’s number underneath. A vintage logo will be underneath the script with 20 on one side of the sabres and 10 on the other.
The rest of the jersey is where it differs from current concept art on the internet. The back of the 3rd jersey will have numbers but they will be checkered gold and blue. Don’t ask me how this will work, I was skeptical as well. It will also make customizing them nearly impossible.
Futhermore there will be a name plate on the back (like Philadelphia’s home jerseys), it will be gold and the lettering will be blue. How do you feel about the new threads? Are you going to buy one?
