Kennedy Signs With Rangers

Tim Kennedy won’t have to leave the state of New York for his team’s home games this season. However, that team is not the Buffalo Sabres. After being awarded $1 million in an arbitration hearing, Kennedy’s contract was bought out by the Sabres.

Kennedy has signed a one year deal with the New York Rangers. It is a one-way $550,000 contract. Kennedy scored 24 points in 78 games as a rookie last season with the Sabres.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
