Sabres/Ducks Preview

This is the only meeting of the season between these two teams. Anaheim defeated Buffalo by a score of 5-4 last year.

Ducks goaltender Jonas Hiller is coming off of a 45 save shutout against Boston. Buffalo is looking to avoid its third consecutive loss.

The Sabres lost back-to-back meetings against Florida and Tampa Bay. Toni Lydman will make his return to Buffalo, but this time he will be in an Anaheim jersey. Lydman has 12 points in 33 games and is a plus 18 on the season.

Craig Rivet will make his return to the lineup tonight. The Sabres have recalled Luke Adam, who will also play tonight.
