Tyler Ennis was selected by the NHL to play in the Honda Superskills competition. No Sabres were selected to the All Star game, which will take place in Raleigh North Carolina on January 30th. The Superskills competition will take place on January 29th.
Ennis was one of the 12 selected rookies to participate in the competition. Ennis has nine goals and 10 assists in 41 games this season, making him 6th on the Sabres in points with 19.
The only teams not to have players selected for the all star game were the Buffalo Sabres, Florida Panthers, Phoenix Coyotes, and New York Islanders. These four teams however do have rookies in the Superskills competition.
