The Derek Roy Debate

There are rumors going around that Derek Roy will be ready to play if the Sabres go deep in the playoffs. While those rumors may be true, do the Sabres want him back at that point in the season.

The team has improved significantly since he went down, but would brining him back help or hurt the team? What if Roy does come back and further aggravates his injury, forcing him to miss more time? Or, what if he comes back and continues to score a point per game? Would he mess with the team chemistry or would you put him back in the lineup?

Especially if the Sabres are in the 2nd round or later, would you risk bringing Roy back?

What do you think? Post a thought with your comments.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
