The Buffalo Sabres announced this afternoon that they will be inducting their 36th and 37th members into their Hall of Fame before the team’s November 8th game against the Winnipeg Jets at the First Niagara Center.
Rick Jeanneret and Dale Hawerchuk were announced as the inductees.
Rick Jeanneret, the Sabres play-by-play announcer since the 1971-72 season, will be the third Sabres announcer to be inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame.
Dale Hawerchuk, a Hockey Hall of Famer, played five seasons for the Buffalo Sabres. Hawerchuk recorded 385 points, 110 goals and 275 assists, during his stint with the Sabres.
