The Buffalo News is reporting this Thanksgiving evening that the Buffalo Sabres have recalled forward Zack Kassian from the Rochester Americans.
Kassian, in his first year with the Amerks, currently has 14 points (7 goals, 7 assists) in 18 games. The Sabres top prospect is expected to make his NHL debut on Friday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Although this move has yet to be confirmed by the Buffalo Sabres or Rochester Americans, the recent injuries to forwards Patrick Kaleta and Brad Boyes made this move a no-brainer.
