Leino to miss weeks with injury

Yes, you’re reading that correctly. Add another injury to the Sabres’ list. Lindy Ruff stated that Ville Leino will be lost for weeks due to a lower-body injury.

Leino has played in 27 games for the Sabres this season, collecting three goals and seven assists. One of those goals was a game-winner, but he is at a team worst -7.

Although he has struggled this season, Leino put up five points in the past seven games he has played.
