Myers Set to Return vs. Carolina

There is finally some good news for Buffalo Sabres fans. Defenseman Tyler Myers is set to return to the lineup tomorrow night versus Carolina after missing the last 19 games.

The Sabres are hoping that the return of Myers will help spark the lineup that has gone 6-9-4 in his absence.

Here are some more Sabres injury updates:

Ville Leino – Leino is optimistic that he can return on Saturday vs. Winnipeg. Lindy Ruff said that next week is more likely for his return.

Tyler Ennis – Ennis was set to return Saturday vs. Winnipeg but he suffered a setback in practice and will not skate for the next two days. Lindy Ruff says that Ennis may be headed for the dreaded “week-to-week” labeling.

Corey Tropp – Tropp has fully recovered from his concussion and he was sent down to the Rochester Americans during the week.

Andrej Sekera  – Placed on Injured Reserve during the week. No timetable on his recovery.

Christian Ehrhoff – According to Paul Hamilton of WGR 550, Ehrhoff is dealing with a rib injury. No timetable on his recovery.
