Debate: Will Myers Be Suspended?

During last night’s game versus the Canadiens, Tyler Myers was involved in what was a very questionable play.

In the third period, Myers was hit in the face by Chris Campoli’s stick, a high sticking that went uncalled.

Myers took an exception to this uncalled foul and took things into his own hands.

Tyler Myers was given a two-minute minor boarding penalty and finished the game without incident.

This is not the first time that Myers has been linked to a questionable hit.

Earlier this season, Myers escaped suspension after a hit to the head on New Jersey Devils forward Dainius Zubrus.

Myers will have a hearing this afternoon with the NHL ‘s Department of Player Safety, which includes Brendan Shanahan.
