Sabres to host NHL Draft Party

The Buffalo Sabres announced this afternoon that they will be hosting an NHL Draft Party at the First Niagara Center on June 22.

Beginning at 5 PM, fans will be allowed to enter the arena to watch the 2012 NHL Draft on the high-definition scoreboard.

Also throughout the night, fans will be able to participate in many family friendly activities, including autograph sessions and floor hockey on the arena floor.

The draft begins at 7 PM, and the entire first round will be shown at the arena.

Broadcasters from the Sabres and WGR 550 will be on hand to provide analysis and exclusive live interviews from the Draft, which is taking place at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh.

The Sabres Store will be open and offering fans a 42% discount off of their purchases during the Draft Party, to commemorate the franchise’s upcoming 42nd season.

Admission to the Draft Party is free and there will be complimentary parking in the arena ramp, located next to the First Niagara Center.
