Enroth Named to NHL All-Rookie Team

Following the NHL Awards Ceremony this evening, the NHL announced the 2011-12 NHL All-Rookie Team.

Buffalo Sabres backup goaltender Jhonas Enroth was named to the team.

Enroth played in 26 games last season, starting 22 of those games. He ended the season with an 8-11-4 record, 2.70 GAA, .970 save percentage (allowing 63 goals on 756 shots) and one shutout.

The rest of the NHL All-Rookie Team is as follows.

Defenseman Justin Faulk (Carolina Hurricanes– 66 games played, 22 points (8 goals, 14 assists).

Defenseman Jake Gardiner (Toronto Maple Leafs– 75 games played, 30 points (7 goals, 23 assists).

Forward Adam Henrique (New Jersey Devils– 74 games played, 51 points (16 goals, 35 assists).

Forward Gabriel Landeskog (Colorado Avalanche) – 82 games played, 52 points (22 goals, 30 assists).

Forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (Edmonton Oilers) – 62 games played, 52 points (18 goals, 34 points).
