Here’s more about the two players that Buffalo acquired.

Steve Ott, a 29 year old center, scored 39 points (11 goals, 28 assists) in 74 games last season. He also recorded 156 penalty minutes. He is a very physical center, who is instantly expected to help boost the Sabres in the area of toughness.

Kevin Snow of the Buffalo Sabres passed along that Steve Ott took 1,011 faceoffs for DAL last season, winning 55.5% (561-450).

Adam Pardy, a 28 year old defenseman, scored 3 points (0 goals, 3 assists) in 36 games last season. Pardy is assumed to be solely a depth move for the Sabres organization.
