SHC now covering the Rochester Americans

With the ongoing NHL lockout, we’re aware that many fans are, or will be going through, hockey withdrawal. Because of that, we needed to find a way to get our hockey fix.

There’s no better time than now to start paying attention to the Rochester Amerks. This year, SHC will be covering the Amerks, so you can stay updated on its performance. We will be posting game previews and recaps, stats and standings throughout the season.

The Amerks open their season against Syracuse this Friday (full schedule here).

On Thursday we will have an Amerks season preview for you, as well as a game preview posted on Friday morning. Coverage of the Amerks will be permanent, and not just until the NHL begins. We plan to cover Rochester from now on, whether the NHL is going on or not.
