Mental mistakes cost Sabres in 6-3 loss

Defense was fairly wide open. That and while Hodgson is producing he tries to be too fancy on the puck. Even when he was down in Rochester he would be be the reason for turnovers. Other than that the special teams play needs to pick up. This is what happened last year with the power play. We would hold the puck and rarely take shots. We need to get back to the ways of putting Vanek infront of the net and just ripping them. The traffic will lead to goals, the fanciness comes back to hurt us everytime.
