Regehr to Kings for a pair of 2nd round draft picks. #tradecentre
— Darren Dreger (@DarrenDreger) April 2, 2013
The Sabres originally acquired Regehr via trade on June 25, 2011.
Regehr tallied 7 points (1 goal, 6 assists) in 105 games with the Sabres. His veteran presence was well lauded throughout his time as a member of the Sabres.
As per Darren Dreger, the Sabres have received two 2nd-round draft picks in return for Regehr’s services.
It is currently unknown who will replace Regehr in the Sabres lineup, but with the injury to defensive prospect Brayden McNabb, it might be safe to assume that Adam Pardy will play for the Sabres tomorrow night.
