Looking for Sponsors, Advertisers

Sabres Hockey Central is now searching for companies, businesses and organizations throughout Buffalo to advertise on the site during the 2013-2014 NHL season. We offer a few different options:

Game previews: For each Sabres game a preview will be posted at least 12 hours prior to game time, generating approximately 500 page views. You can have two graphic ads (each 250px by 250px) underneath the team stats. The ads will never be deleted from the post.

The price for a game preview ad is $10.

Game recaps: Sabres Hockey Central posts recaps for every game, and are posted within an hour after the game ends. The recaps usually generate many more views than the previews, averaging close to 1,000. The ads will never be deleted from the post. Dimensions of these ads are 482px by 300px.

The price for a game recap ad is $15.

Select a preview and a recap for the same game and it will be a discounted amount of $20 total.

Sponsor the pick ’em tournament: We are also looking for organizations or businesses to sponsor the 2013-14 pick ’em tournament. For this, sponsors will choose a select number of games during the season, which will become bonus games for the participants of the pick ’em tournament. For example, every participant that predicts the score of the selected game(s) correctly will win a $10 gift card from that sponsor. In return, that sponsor will have an ad shown on the pick ’em page all season long as well as the sponsor page.

*All advertisers and sponsors will have their logos posted on our sponsor page for the duration of the season.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
