draft2013

For the first time in National Hockey League history, the league will employ a draft lottery to determine the first 14 picks in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

By the end of the evening, we will know which franchise gets the opportunity to draft consensus first overall pick Seth Jones.

Also, we will learn where the Buffalo Sabres first pick in the first round will be. As of the Draft Lottery, the Sabres are locked into the 8th slot and cannot draft lower than 9th, only if they get bumped down by a lower slotted team.

Here are the odds, for each franchise, of winning the first overall pick.
