The Buffalo Sabres have officially released their schedule for the 2013-14 season.
The Sabres will start the season Wednesday, October 2nd at Detroit, and open at home on Friday, October 4th vs. Ottawa.
There will be no NHL hockey from February 9-26, because of the official Olympic break.

Jason Pominville’s Return to Buffalo – 10/14 vs. Minnesota
Nathan MacKinnon/Patrick Roy in Buffalo – 10/19 vs. Colorado
Lindy Ruff’s Return to Buffalo – 10/28 vs. Dallas
First Game After Olympics – 2/26/13 vs. Boston
Defending Stanley Cup Champions in Buffalo – 3/9/14 vs. Chicago
Paul Gaustad’s Return to Buffalo – 3/11/14 vs. Nashville
