The Sabres entered this week, coming off of a disappoint week of bad, uninspired hockey. This week would not produce the desired result in terms of victories, but a clearly improved and re-inspired hockey team took the ice for three games. Buffalo would go 1-1-1 this week, gaining 3 out of 6 points.
After nine weeks of hockey, the Sabres have 14 points (6-20-2). They are 8th in the Atlantic Division and 16th in the Eastern Conference. Buffalo is also sporting a league-worst -37 goal differential.
