Sabres sign Baptiste to entry-level contract

The #Sabres have signed 2013 3rd-rd pick Nick Baptiste. His 45 goals in 2013-14 tied him for fourth-best among all OHL skaters.

Nicholas Baptiste spent the most recent season as a member of the OHL’s Sudbury Wolves, where he tallied 89 points (45 goals, 44 assists) in 65 games.

The Buffalo Sabres selected Baptiste in the 3rd round of the 2013 NHL Entry Level Draft, with the 69th overall pick.
