The Buffalo Sabres continue to deal away players at the deadline, and the next domino has fallen.
Buffalo has traded goaltender Michal Neuvirth to the New York Islanders in exchange for goaltender Chad Johnson and a conditional third round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft.
Neuvirth was acquired by the Sabres last season at the deadline in the Jaroslav Halak deal with the Capitals. In 29 career games with the Sabres, Neuvirth had a 6-19-3 record with a .934 save percentage and a 2.78 goal against average.
