The Buffalo Sabres have recalled Dan Catenacci and Cal O’Reilly from Rochester. They are both eligible to return to Rochester at the end of the season for the AHL postseason.

Catenacci has played three games with the Sabres this season and is still looking for his first point. He has nine goals and 11 assists in 41 games with the Americans this season.

Cal O’Reilly has one assist in five games with Buffalo this year. He has six goals and 22 assists in 44 games with the Americans.

Both players could have the opportunity for some playing time down the stretch.

To make room, the team sent down Justin Bailey.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
