Sabres sign Fasching to entry-level deal

Fasching

The Buffalo Sabres announced that the team has signed forward Hudson Fasching to an entry-level contract.

At 6’2″, 216 pounds, Fasching is a power forward who was acquired from Los Angeles in Tim Murray’s first trade for Buffalo.

He has played his last three seasons at the University of Minnesota. This season he amassed 38 points (20 goals, 18 assists) in 37 games, and over his college career he totaled 64 points (32 goals, 32 assists) in 75 games.

Fasching has a good chance of making his debut on Saturday when the Sabres host the Jets.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
