Kane to miss rest of season

After suffering an injury during a game earlier this week, head coach Dan Bylsma has ruled out Evander Kane for the rest of the season.

Kane has been out with an upper-body injury, which is expected to keep him out for 3-4 weeks, or the rest of the year.

Evander Kane’s season ends with 20 goals and 15 assists in 65 games played, the most games he has played since ’11-’12.

The news comes after the Sabres announced that Robin Lehner will also miss the rest of this season. Bylsma added that Tyler Ennis remains a possibility to return before the season comes to an end.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
