Sabres sign Taylor Fedun

Fedun

The Buffalo Sabres have agreed to terms with defenseman Taylor Fedun. The 28-year-old defenseman has only played 12 NHL games, scoring seven points (two goals, five assists) in that time.

Last season with Utica, Fedun scored 33 points in 66 games. He’s played with three different teams over the last three years: Edmonton, San Jose and Vancouver.

Fedun is a depth signing and likely won’t see much time with Buffalo, but could be a nice addition for the club in Rochester.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
