Sabres host Enroth, Leafs

Girgs

Fresh off of a 1-0 victory thanks to Matt Moulson’s shootout goal, the Sabres and Leafs meet again tonight, this time at the KeyBank Center.

Former Sabres goaltender Jhonas Enroth is expected to get the start for Toronto, while Robin Lehner and Jason Kasdorf are the goalies for Buffalo.

First overall pick Auston Matthews is not expected to play in this one and will get some extra rest as the World Cup has recently concluded.

Today’s lines in practice:

Forwards:
Moulson-Girgensons-Ennis
Deslauriers-Reinhart-Baptiste
Bailey-Grant-Gionta
Rodrigues-Dupuy-Schneider

Defensemen:
Kulikov-McCabe
Nelson-Falk
Austin-Bennett

Tonight’s game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and can be seen on MSG and heard on WGR 550.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
