Sabres send down six

The Buffalo Sabres have sent six players down to Rochester.

Justin Bailey, Jean Dupuy, Cole Schneider, Brady Austin, Erik Burgdoerfer and Linus Ullmark have been loaned to the Rochester Americans.

This brings the Sabres training camp roster down to 31 players.

Again, Derek Grant has survived a cut and has a legitimate chance of making the team. With one week until the opener, there are some decisions to be made, including the contract of Rasmus Ristolainen.
