Ullmark sent to Rochester

The Buffalo Sabres have sent goaltender Linus Ullmark down to Rochester.

This move was expected as the Sabres have their two goaltenders ready for the regular season. Robin Lehner is the No. 1 while Anders Nilsson is the backup.

Ullmark will likely get his chance to play for Buffalo at some point during the season, and could have an opportunity to battle Nilsson for the backup job. For now, he’ll start the season with the Americans.
