With 3:20 remaining in Tuesday’s game, Dmitry Kulikov took a charging penalty after leveling Philadelphia Flyers‘ forward Jakub Voracek with a big hit.
The two minute penalty did help the Flyers come back and eventually win the game, but some thought that the hit was dirty and deserved a suspension, or at least a hearing from the National Hockey League.
It turns out that Kulikov will not even have a hearing.
Take another look at the hit:
For anyone wondering about Kulikov hit: don’t expect supplemental discipline. Clean, chest main point of contact, not late.
