Ullmark sent down

Ullmark

The Buffalo Sabres have sent goaltender Linus Ullmark down to Rochester.

With Robin Lehner back practicing after recovering from a stomach bug, Ullmark was returned to the AHL. He was called up prior to Tuesday’s game, but did not receive any playing time despite being available for two games.

For now, Lehner and Anders Nilsson will take care of the goaltending duties. Ullmark will have to wait to see NHL action this season.

Nillson will start today against the Florida Panthers and Lehner will be in goal for tomorrow’s game vs. the Winnipeg Jets.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
