Sabres recall Baptiste

The Buffalo Sabres have called up Nicholas Baptiste from the Rochester Americans.

Nicolas Deslauriers was banged up late in Saturday’s game and did not return. Head coach Dan Bylsma stated that the forward would likely not make the trip to Winnipeg on Sunday.

Baptiste has recorded five points (three goals, two assists) in five games with the Amerks this season.
