The Sabres have called up Williamsville native Justin Bailey from the Amerks to replace injured Hudson Fasching. Buffalo plays Minnesota tonight at 8:05 EST.
Fasching did not practice on Monday after leaving Winnipeg with a groin injury in the first period in his only shift of the game.
This season in Rochester, Bailey has three goals and one assist in seven games. The 21-year-old played eight games for the Sabres last season and is still looking for his first NHL point. He was drafted by the Sabres in 2013 in the 2nd round (52nd overall).
The Sabres injured list now includes: Jack Eichel, Evander Kane, Nicholas Deslauriers and Hudson Fasching.
