Ticket packages for the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship will go on sale to the general public today, November 28, 2016. Tickets will be available online at BuffaloWorldJuniors.com or in person at the KeyBank Center box office.
The tournament will begin on December 26, 2017, and will end with the gold medal game being played on January 5, 2018. It will be the sixth time that the United States has hosted the IHWJC and the second time that Buffalo has done so (Buffalo also hosted the event in 2011).
A preliminary game between Canada and the United States will also be played outdoors at New Era Field in Orchard Park, New York on December 29, 2017. It will mark the first ever outdoor game played during an IIHF world championship at any level.
There are three packages to choose from:
GOLD PACKAGE ($1,550):
- Includes 31 total games
- 22 at KeyBank Center (Sections 105, 117, 207, 218)
- 8 at HarborCenter
- 1 at New Era Field (Sections 110-113 and 132-135)
SILVER PACKAGE ($1,265):
- Includes 23 total games
- 22 at KeyBank Center (Sections 100-104, 106-116, 118-123, 200-206, 208-217, 219-226)
- 1 at New Era Field (Sections 101-109, 114-131, 136-143, 200 Level, 311-312, 333-334)
BRONZE PACKAGE ($690):
- Includes 23 total games
- 22 at KeyBank Center (300 Level)
- 1 at New Era Field (306-310, 313-317, 328-332, 335-339)
Fans purchasing any of the three packages will also have the opportunity to purchase three additional tickets for the outdoor game.
