Sabres recall Bailey

The Buffalo Sabres have called up forward Justin Bailey from the Rochester Americans. This is a result of William Carrier’s hand injury sustained in Thursday’s game against the Boston Bruins.

Bailey has been playing well for the Amerks with five goals in the last four games. This will be his second stint in the NHL this season, where has played just a pair of games.

Bailey only has 10 games of NHL experience, but he gets another chance to find the scoresheet when the Sabres are in Boston on Saturday afternoon.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
