Okposo selected to ASG

Kyle Okposo has been selected to the 2017 NHL All-Star Game in Los Angeles.

“I’m excited. It’s something I’ve always wanted to be a part of,” Okposo said. “You throw it on the TV when you’re growing up or even now and the All-Star Game is a pretty cool event. I’m thrilled to be participating this year and I’m very honored to be selected.”

In his first season with the Sabres, Okposo has been one of Buffalo’s best. He has 27 points (12 goals, 15 assists) in 38 games this year. He’ll be the only player from the Sabres going to the All-Star Game.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
