Sabres sign Falk to extension

The Buffalo Sabres have signed defensemen Justin Falk to a one-year extension worth $650,000.

The bigger part in all of this is that Falk is nearing the 40+ game mark this season, meaning it would give the Sabres five defensemen they could expose to the Las Vegas draft in the summer.

He has played 35 games and recorded four assists this season.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
