Rasmus Ristolainen was suspeneded three games by the National Hockey League’s Player Safety department on Thursday afternoon for his hit on Pittsburgh Penguins‘ Jake Guentzel.
Ristolainen was also ejected from the game, which was only nine minutes in.
He was also fined $90,000. Ristolainen will be eligible to return on April 2nd against the Islanders, which begins the final five games of the season.
