The Sabres announced today that they have signed forward Zemgus Girgensons to a two-year deal worth $1.6M per year.
Girgensons is coming off a season in which he scored 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in 75 games. Throughout his four-year career, he has hit 30 points as his max.
The 23-year-old forward still has potential, and perhaps with the new coaching changes, the best could still be yet to come.
Very excited to be back in Buffalo for two more years! Looking forward to the upcoming season… https://t.co/aZK4Ev49pi
