Sabres sign Pu to entry-level contract

Buffalo announced that it has signed 19-year-old forward Cliff Pu to a three-year entry-level contract.

The Sabres drafted Pu with the 69th overall selection in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.

Pu registered 86 points for the London Knights last season, scoring 35 goals and 51 assists in 63 games. This season, he has a goal and five assists through 11 games, wearing an “A” for his OHL team.
